After a lot of difficulties we found the right place to record our new stuff! In January we'll start recording. We want to finish the recordings at the end of January so the mixing and mastering will be ready somewhere in March. Before the release of the new EP we won't do a lot of gigs(You can still book NGA). At the gig at the Down Town Café we'll play a couple of new songs, this show will be on a local radiostation. Added on 2006-12-06 by Edo NGA @ Finals GBOB NGA made it to the finals of the Global Battle Of the Bands. We want to thank everyone who travelled along with us and supported us by voting for NGA. To bad we didn't win the finals, but all the bands played really great. We enjoyed playing with al these talented (signed) bands and liked to play twice on such a great stage! This two gig's realy made us a better band. The recordings for the Down Town Café at the Romein stage is moved to 27 january 2007. Added on 2006-10-23 by Edo NGA @ Melkweg No Good Around will play in Amsterdam at the Melkweg on the 20th of October. This is something the bandmembers always wanted to a achieve! The band was asked to take place in the Global Battle Of the Bands. This is a contest that takes place in almost every country. After the pré round there will be a final at the 21st of October, also in the Melkweg. The winner of this contest will go to London to play in the finals and is able to win 100.000 Dollar and a worldtour. Please come join us at the Melkweg, we need your support! He will take his bandage of next friday, then he will decide if he is able to play the gig in The Coaster next saterday. Added on 2006-09-22 by Edo New Gigs Hi, Down Town Café No Good Around is going to play at the Romein stage while the Down Town Café at november 12. Every sunday afternoon the local radio station will send out 2 sessions of 20 minutes and an interview of the band that is playing! The gig is for free and will start at 3 o'clock so be there. New Gigs No Good Around is also going to play at the "Dag van de amateurkunst" in De Harmonie at september 16. This venue will start in the afternoon and will take till midnight. We will play at 7 o'clock. The last new added gig is at The Coaster in Gorredijk. Doors open at 9 O'clock. Shirts The designs of the shirts are done so in a few weeks the shirts will be done. Finally al little update! We have been very busy writing and practising lately. The last 2 gigs in Iduna were also a great success. We finished third in the bandcontest behind Slavemill (1st) and Asunder (2nd). Our performance at the Penta Fest was also great, it was a real honour to play as the final band. Recording "news" Our long awaited new EP isn't there yet. There are some difficulties that need to be solved first. But we'll start recording soon(we hope)! Gig news No Good Around will perform with Noyalty and For A While on the 14th of April at Cafe Mukkes in Leeuwarden. We will also play at Podiumcafe the Legend in Sneek (a contest) on the 12th of May. And a few other gigs, who will be posted in the gig area when we know the dates.
